وَلَا تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولَٰئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْئُولًا
And do not follow what you have no knowledge of. Indeed, the hearing, the sight, and the heart—about all those [one] will be questioned

Overcoming temptations brings countless rewards, both in this life and in the Hereafter. Resisting desires and focusing on righteous actions purify the soul, helping to achieve inner peace and a closer relationship with Allah. Those who actively control their desires are promised great rewards, as mentioned in the Qur’an, “And as for those who feared the standing before their Lord and restrained themselves from [evil] desires, then Paradise will be their abode” (Qur’an 79:40-41).
