Importance of Kalma Tayyaba
“فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنبِكَ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ۚ وَمَا أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْمَغْفِرَةُ”
So know, [O Muhammad], that there is no deity except Allah and ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women
(Qur'an, Surah Muhammad, 47:19)
قال النبي محمد (صلى الله عليه وسلم) "أَفْضَلُ مَا قُلْتُ أَنَا وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِن قَبْلِي: لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The best of what I have said—and the prophets before me have said—is La ilaha illallah.
